Observations about Bad Blood Again
*** "You may want to create some stand-along stories from within your book. All of the important story elements are here; you have wonderful potential!" Ronnie Smith, President, Writer’s Relief, Inc. Hackensack, NJ.
*** "You are a wonderful writer!!! Your story is very interesting and you could definitely create a following of readers/fans interested in the lead characters’ investigations. You have a book series in the making." Anna Graham, Publisher, Purple Dove Books.
*** "The title, Bad Blood Again, is catchy…this is a terrific title and it will draw your potential readers in; your sentences are powerful! Dialogue in the book is easy to understand and follow. Nice work; each scene transitions smoothly into the next because of this dialogue. Mechanics of the book are solid. A good piece of work." Cynthia Sherman, Critique Administrator, Writers Literary Agency.
*** "This is truly a fascinating book as you have a wonderfully witty and engaging style and the story unfolds at a good pace. The story of the CDC from the insider point of view intertwined with your experiences as the backdrop makes for a very good read. A very nicely written manuscript." Vickie Brown, Critique Administrator, Eloquent Publishing.
*** I suspect you drew from your personal experiences and my favorite ‘character’ is Sadie, the black whore. Gives me chills picturing her bad teeth and all…plus she ain’t taking any crap from Doug that’s for sure. Richard Angelini, Angelini Computer Systems., Reno, NV.
*** Enjoyed the book. It contains an amazing amount of information about the state of affairs relative to VD in the early 1980s and the early thinking and the approaches taken on HIV/AIDS. If the life of VD investigators is still as you describe in the book, it would appear that combat pay might be in order for some assignments. I hope no investigators have to go back into those bath houses! Donald Molde, MD Reno.
*** I am a novelists and I like working with novelists…you write very well! Diane Raintree Productions New York, NY.
